Questions, answered.
The things people most often ask about our services, machines and training. Can't find your answer? Just reach out.
How do I book a threshing service?
Use the booking form on our Contact page, or call us directly. Tell us your location, how much rice you have and your timing, and we'll schedule a trained operator to bring the thresher to your field. You pay per bag, no machine purchase needed.
How much does the pay-per-use service cost?
Our service fee is around GHS 55–60 per 140kg bag, inclusive of the operator and maintenance. Exact pricing can vary by location and season.
Can I buy a machine outright?
Yes. Direct sales start from around GHS 50,000 and include operator training and a 12-month warranty. We also offer leasing over 12–24 months through partner financiers for cooperatives.
What can your machines handle?
Our multi-stage thresher processes 900–1,200 kg of rice per hour at 98% efficiency, handles both wet and dry rice of all varieties, and keeps grain breakage under 0.3%. Our solar winnower cleans grain at 98% efficiency.
Where do you operate?
We currently work across the Ashanti Volta rice corridors, with plans to expand to three regional hubs and reach 10,000 farmers by 2028.
Who can join your training programs?
Our training focuses on women and youth in rural communities, plus farmers. It covers food processing, sustainable agriculture, record keeping and more. If you're a cooperative, NGO or district partner, contact us to arrange a program.
Are the machines really solar-powered?
They run on a hybrid solar-mechanical system, which cuts energy costs by more than 70% and lets them work in off-grid communities at near-zero operating emissions.
